Baby Janes with Buttons and Bows
These little cuties knit up quickly. The details make the bootie. Little i-cord bows adorn the front of the bootie and pretty silver buttons are sewn on for decoration only. Elastic sewn inside the strap and attached to the booties make getting them on and off a breeze.
Baby Cotton Cross Strap Flats
This pattern is based on Saartje’s Bootees pattern by Saartje de Bruijn. I reworked the pattern using Peaches & Cream Cotton. These adorable booties are knit in one piece using a Turkish Cast On method. The only sewing is the final tail and sewing the straps to the booties or the buttons to the straps depending on how you might want to approach the closure. They will fit an infant 3-6 months and the foot is about 3.75”-4” in length. I used Peaches & Cream, Bright Aqua.
